Let's see the miracle in a little thing.

Faith is confidence in God. It is calm and restful. Where there is no calm and rest there cannot be faith.

To Him who answered a child's prayer for a unique voice and the skill to speak an alien language, Who walked invisibly beside a young man and watched him enjoy his rebellious life, Who made Himself known to the adult man and reminded him of a child's promise screamed out at a fiery presence in a dream that refused to die, Who broke the uncompromising shell and drew out the work that defied discovery, Who whispered the inspiration and waited for the madness to drive the fledgling voice, Who stayed silent and exuded unworldly strength in times of dreadful distress, Who kept wayward feet homeward bound and a kingless heart yearning to be ruled, I say, "Be My God."

Pray for someone. Let someone pray for you. We may not go on today without someone's prayers.

It's not in my prayer that I place my confidence. It's in God's response to any prayer that I place my confidence.

To believe in God is to believe in what seems unreal and to disbelieve in what seems real.

Anyone can speak words of faith. But only a few can believe these words in a hopeless situation.

To tell someone about Jesus is not as effective as to show someone Jesus. And the only way one shows Jesus to someone is by showing unconditional love to that person and by accepting that person without reservation.

You can't force yourself to love God. But you can feel happy for your life, especially for all that is good in it. This is how you thank God without even thinking about him.

Should prayer be formulaic or natural? Though the Lord's Prayer serves as a template for many who pray, I have found a more spontaneous, impulsive prayer more sincere in its expression.

It is not in our achievements or in our ability to persuade God that we must place our hope today. It is in God's unchanging nature, his great faithfulness and compassion that we must place our hope today.

We need someone to save us. That someone can only be God.

Jesus Christ would not have asked us to carry a cross if we were not able to do so. He who called us to carry a cross will enable us to carry it until the very end.

If you are terrified of God you may never experience his love.

Be bold. You are not going to triumph over any foe by being scared.

God, let me see the beauty that you have made with fresh eyes. May I look upon it every day as though I were seeing it for the first time. Let me see it deeply, and relish it thoroughly. Let there be no fear in my admiration. Let the terror of what might happen leave me, and let me be surrounded by the joy and assurance of your love.

The proper response to forgiveness is repentance. And the only way to repent is to seek God above everything else.

The proper reaction to anything is "Thank you Lord." Let the first words on my lips every day be "Thank you Lord." Let the last words on lips every day be "Thank you Lord."

It is better to speak the truth which no one applauds than speak the untruth that people wildly applaud.

God is love. But what are we?

We don't have to be perfect to receive a gift from God. God gave us the great gift of life when we were not perfect. God gave us the greatest gift of salvation when we were nowhere near perfect. So let us not try to be good to earn a gift from God. We cannot earn God's gift.

Pray for those who promise to help you and then disappear.

Bear this in mind. God does not evaluate us by what we possess or even by who we are. We are all sinners. And we are all poor. No one is rich in God's eyes. Naked we entered this world and naked we will leave. There is nothing to boast of as far as human accomplishments are concerned. We are mere ants doing the things that ants do, believing that we are something greater than ants. This is the tragedy of human thinking.

"Love God and do whatever you want" said Saint Augustine. It is the love for God that is primary. God looks at the heart of Man and searches for love. The love for God is more important than any doctrine or prayer that may be said to God in a certain way. Quotations from the scriptures and declarations of faith are secondary. Even a keeping of God's commands is secondary to the love a human feels for God. This alone is God's primary requirement. And the love of God is expressed in the love for human beings. Any God lover must also love humans the way they are without trying to change them according to how he or she would like them to be.

Let's love our children and not try to correct them, though it is most tempting to do so. Ultimately they will understand only our love. If only we would show by example what we want our children to learn! It is not easy. We must seek God's help.

Let us be constant in our gaze towards God. No matter what we have suffered and will suffer it is in His promise and faithfulness that we will place our ultimate trust. We trust in God because He will not fail us. He is not like any human being. He will not lie to us. He is also perfectly able to fulfil His promise and perform His word.

What a long struggle this has been! But there is always hope because there is always God. He will not abandon the one who runs to him. O let's run to him today!

God has not forsaken me. There have been difficulties in my life. There have been many difficulties and God has been there for me. God was there for me every time there was a difficulty. Even if I didn’t see any miracle happen, God was there. He helped me every time. And though my problems haven’t disappeared, and they still remain, I have the knowledge that God helped me. God helped me in the past. And that means only one thing to me. God will help me now. And God will help me in the future. Let me hang on to that hope.

“What’s the use of worrying? Can you add a hair to your head by worrying?” This is what Jesus Christ said to those who worry. Jesus told his disciples not to worry. He commanded his disciples not to worry. “Don’t be afraid. Just believe”, he said on one occasion. A statement so simple yet so powerful is one that I need to remember today. It’s a statement that many people will need to remember today, as they wait for the Lord Jesus Christ to do something in their lives, as they wait on God to solve their problems. Let us not be afraid today. Let us believe. Let us believe that our God is good, that he will save us just as he promised us, that he will be there for us, that he will not forsake us.

I have doubts too. But my faith is greater than my doubts. Let this be the case with all believers in Jesus Christ.

Sometimes the value of a gift is known only when it is lost.

There was a time when I believed that I was a self-made man. There was a time when I believed I was self-directed. Today I understand that there is no such thing as self-direction in my life. If I am where I am today it is because someone has externally directed me. Someone continues to externally direct me. And I believe that this person is God. I have not seen him. I have not heard his voice. I have not seen his physical presence in my life. I have heard of him. I have read about him. I imagine him in my life. Very rarely I feel him.

I wanted to do something that is noticed by the whole world. God led me to do something that no one notices. Actually a few people do notice, but the work that I do seems hopeless many times.

What is Christmas without Christ? What is Christ without God? And what is God without love?

We will not be drawn to God if He has no love.

Why should I get people to like me when God can do that for me in the most appropriate manner?

The entry of a rat may bring about the entry of a cat.

Those who want to see God will see God.

I am not getting out of this without a fight. I will fight till I am everything that God wants me to be.

Hold on to nothing except God.

The act of giving is good because it is something that Christ commanded us to do. We must give. We give not because we expect to receive. We give because we have already received. I want to share this with you so that you may also consider giving if you haven’t done that already. The Bible says, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Shall we give today?

Can you appreciate a little thing? That is the test of your greatness.

May God's will be done in your life. May peace and strength flood your heart today. Be well. God is with you.

Blessed is he who knows the pettiness of his anger.

Trouble is good. It brings a man down to a place of reality. There are times when a man can fool himself into thinking that he is secure, that he is even good and maybe great and probably invincible. A man is no such thing. A man cannot be good. A man cannot be great. A man cannot be invincible. Trouble makes a man realize this.

Every day is a blessing. Every moment is a blessing. Every breath is a blessing. Every day of health is a blessing. Every friend we’ve made, every relationship in our lives is a blessing. Every opportunity to speak about God's love, every opportunity to share God's message is a blessing.

Jesus is King. He is the King of your life. Submit to Him entirely. Surrender all your fears to Him. Cast all your cares on Him today. And trust in Him to work out the solution to your unending problem.

The only approval you are likely to get in the world is from other human beings. So learn to live with human approval and not because of it. Live as though all human praise, fleetingly satisfying as it is, ultimately means nothing and counts as nothing.

Know yourself. But don't be troubled by yourself. God loves the mess that you are.

I have wrestled with powerful desires. As in physical wrestling I have fallen many times and have been overpowered many times. I have even been laid flat on my back many times. But the wrestling match in my life has not ended. And it is nowhere near ending. Something keeps it going. I'm still wrestling. Today I wonder: why have my powerful, worldly desires not overpowered me completely? If they have overcome me why will I still be wrestling with them? No, they have not overcome me. Because there is another desire in me, equally great and perhaps greater, and not from this world, but from another. This is a desire to be where God is. It is because of this desire that the wrestling bout still goes on.

Do not be ruled by what people say about you and think about you. Remember that God loves you no matter what you are and what you do and focus on what he says about you.

The venom of a fellow-believer is worse than the sting of an unbeliever.

Someone is not well. I heard the news and I was filled with sadness. Though this is not a person who is close to me I cannot feel anything but sadness. The nature of the sickness is grave. And the situation offers little hope. As I sat in my room, reflecting on this piece of news, I asked myself the question, “What would I have done if this had happened to my mother?” My answer was, “I would have prayed. I would have prayed desperately. I would have cried out to God most urgently to heal my mother.” And then I said to myself, “I need to do the same for this man. I should pray for him as I would pray for my mother.”

God does not want to condemn you. God wants to accept you. So get that condemnation complex out of your system. And dare to believe in a forgiving God.

All that we have today as followers of the Lord Jesus Christ is the grace of our God. And that is enough. Let us believe that. Let us declare that. And let us continue to declare that despite how we feel.

Let me not strive today. Let me rest. And let me wait.

I started as a child of a Hindu. I started as a God-hater who made fun of God (the God of the Bible), who mocked God and who mocked everyone who believed in God, and now I have turned into someone who loves God and speaks for Him.

"Thank you Lord" is the best thing to say when you are happy. "I believe that you are in charge of my life. I thank you for the good times" is the best thing to say when you are sad.

Thank you Lord. Thank you for what I know that you have done. Thank you for what I do not know that you have done.

This is the season for me to be thankful. So I consciously discard every negative thought and worry today and focus on the good that still remains in my life

In weakness I cry out to God: "Let not weak desires rule me today. Let your strength empower me to do your things, to speak your words, to think your thoughts." Sometimes I despair of being weak always. But I also know that along with my weakness there is a powerful desire to meet and know God. Is this weakness therefore what keeps me unceasingly seeking God? I don't know that. But I know this. When I am weak, it is then that I am strong.

Our lights may be fading, but we still have life in us to tell someone else what and Who makes us purposefully alive. As those who have been given a purpose in life let us desire that others may also live so purposefully.

Who can guide us home except the one who calls us home? In our search for Him, in our attempt to go home, we get lost and distracted and confused. It is at that time we need to believe in Him. We need to pray that He would guide us home.

People are not easy to love. If we were called by God to love only those people who are easy to love, then such a task is not worthy. But the Lord Jesus Christ, when He called us to love one another as He loved us, knew well that He was asking us to do something difficult and even impossible in human strength. Yet He desired that, for we ourselves are loved by God when we have nothing to merit that love. We must love others as God loves us.

Be grateful even for a little thing. Just be grateful always.

It feels good to be approved and loved by people. But when such approval and love do not come hearts can be broken and aims can appear defeated. It is especially then that we should consider this fact: we are here because God loves us and approves of us. God's love and approval should outrank every other thing. And when we have this love and approval, we don't need anything else. It is best to be aware of this fact always.

Let me not act in fear. Let me act in faith. Let me believe that there is a God whose grace is sufficient for me every day. Let me believe that there is a Christ whose suffering on the cross erases all my sins and whose blood shed for me washes all my guilt away. Let me rejoice in being justified in God's sight by the work of Jesus Christ. And let me give thanks.

Let me not rejoice in being noticed by humans. Let me rejoice in being noticed by God.

Now I see that I am a work of God. Now I see how He has slowly but surely changed my heart. I thought that it could never happen. But it is happening now.

When I was not even a Christian, someone said I was one. When I said that I despised all Christians he said that I was a true Christian. This made me think. This led me to where I am now.

Say, "I will not be afraid" to your fears today. If God is with you no one and nothing can be against you. Just listen to God's voice speaking to your heart. Hand over your fears to Him and rest in the knowledge that God will never leave you. Just rest and let Him stir within you.

Speak only as you are led to speak. Speak only what you are led to speak.

Recognize your foolishness. It will be the beginning of your humility.

Rejection is hard. But don't reject the one who has rejected you.

When a person chooses to be happy in life and is grateful to God for what he is and has, he is worshipping God in the most wonderful way.

Those who put faith in God should put faith in nothing else.

Don't judge. Just pray. Have pity on those whom you want to judge and pray for them.

Cling to God alone in your pain. Cry out to God alone for your relief. Hope in God alone for your health and salvation. Pray to God alone and believe that you have already received what you are desperately praying for. And God will not reject your pleas.

Bloom like a flower for even those who do not appreciate you.

Every day is a time to love. Every moment holds the opportunity for us to show love. As Christians we are commanded by Christ to love one another as He loved us. This we must do every day.

It is insecurity that makes one selfish. If one finds security in God one can learn to look beyond oneself.

Maybe I am going through this suffering so that I can be a comfort to those who are also going through this.

Are you willing to love the one who hurts you? This could reveal whether Jesus is in you.

A gracious God requires gracious followers.

It is God who helps. It is always God who helps. People are only agents that God uses. But God is the helper.

Let me eagerly await the fulfilment of God's plan for my life. Let me joyfully hope for every good thing that God is about to do in my life.

Jesus Christ saw the specialness of children and welcomed them.The kingdom of God belongs to those who are like children. But many of our children are not well. Some are even endangered. We need to pray for them.

A man who turns to people for their approval will not dare to speak against them. Such a man cannot speak for God.

Sayings of Samuel Godfrey George - July 2015, Part 1

This is the truth. This is the Truth whom we call the Lord Jesus Christ. When we see him, we see the one who sent him. We didn’t know the one who sent him. This world didn’t know God. But Jesus came into the world to reveal God to us. He is the Christ. He is the Messiah, who came in a way in which no one expected him to come, and who went away in a way in which no one expected him to go away. Everything about him was remarkable. This is the Christ that should stay in our mind. He defies our expectations. His love is beyond description. His grace is beyond our belief. He loves us beyond measure. He forgives all our sins. This is Jesus. And he represents God. When we see Jesus we see God.

We have certain expectations of God. We believe that we know God. Those who have studied God, those who have read about him have this idea that they can work out God. Jesus proved to everyone that God’s mind cannot be worked out. He was an exceptional manifestation, he was a shocking manifestation of God. One of his own disciples asked him at a certain time, “Show us the Father”. And Jesus said, “How can you even ask such a thing? The one who has seen me has seen the Father.”

We are here for a purpose. Have we achieved that purpose? Do we know why we are here? Do we know who we really are? These questions should remain with us and should stir us and lead us to the ultimate truth: God.

Some of us wonder whether God exists. Do we wonder why we exist? Do we have any doubts regarding our existence? Is our existence something that needs to be proven to us? We are certain that we exist, aren’t we? Why can we not be certain that God exists? How could we come into this world without being sent? We’ve been sent, in fact, we’ve been made by God.

God loved the world even when the world didn't love him. God cared for the people of the world even when they didn't care for him. Shouldn't we who are made in the image of God love like God? Shouldn't we also love and care for those who are not worthy of our love and care?

God loves you even when you are trapped in a harmful habit. And he will not love you less for it. But remember this. Nothing in this world is as good as God. Your desire must be for him. If you cannot desire him now in that way, don't lose heart. Ask him to fill you with an undying hunger for him and his righteousness. Let this be your prayer even as you struggle with sin.

Sin is anything that takes you away from God. So what you must do is to seek God with all your might even as you are being dragged away from him by harmful habits. Yet these cannot keep you away from him forever, if your heart is set on being with God. Just desire God today, and do all that you can to seek him. Ask him to fill you with a hunger for him, which will simply not go away.

God understands our weaknesses and sympathises with them. If we do something that we cannot control on our own, then we must ask God to help us with that. His help may not come the way we expect it to come. One may continue in a habit for many years without any real improvement. But trust in God, and believe that he is working in you. And expect improvement always.

Be well friend. God is with you always. But you should be with God.

Remember this. Whatever it is, there is nothing to be anxious about, as long as you seek God. Choose to be with him all the time. Let his words of comfort always be in your heart and mind.

We must be strong and persevere in our pursuit of God. My life involves much struggle, but God helps me keep a smile on my face, for he places his joy deep within me.

As human beings we will make mistakes. And when we make them we must acknowledge them as mistakes, and apologise to anyone who is affected by our mistakes. We may be imperfect, yet we cannot afford to be dismissive of our mistakes.

Trust in God. Seek only his help. And he will not fail you.

With God you will go where he wants you to go.

When I help you I help myself.

Let us learn so that we may impart to others what we have learned. But let us ask the Spirit of God to guide us into all truth, for this alone ensures our laying hold of the truth and not what appears to be true without being so.

Remember this. Whatever your problem, do not be anxious. Take it to God in prayer. Ask him for his guidance in the decision that you need to make. And then rest in the confidence that God will make it clear to you in his time.

God cares for you. You are not alone. He is with you. Just believe. With him at your side, you cannot go wrong. Be calm and rest. God said, "Be still and know that I am God." You need to be still before him. Stillness means calm and confident restfulness.

God is amazing. May he keep this work going. A few months ago I thought that my videos were not being watched, and it looked like I was wasting my time. But now my thoughts regarding them are very different.

Life is not fair. But it is not unfair deliberately. Life on earth was doomed when God pronounced a curse on it very early. When Adam chose to listen to Satan all forms of wickedness entered this world. Unfairness is only a symptom, and a mild one.

God will give you a second chance if you are serious about making changes. And he will help you make those changes. For this you must go to God and submit to him completely. Ask him to guide you to the road that you need to take. Ask him to fill you with love and forgiveness. Wait for God to answer your prayer. He will in his time. And when you need to act you will know.

Ask in Jesus' name, and it will be granted to you. But before you ask anything that you want ask for God's will to be done in your life.

God will forgive you. Confess your mistake to God. Tell him about it. And ask him to forgive you. Receive forgiveness by faith. And then go on with your life in peace.

God loves you friend. You are the apple of his eye. Just remember that. And feel free with him, knowing that he always cares for you.

I've asked God for signs too. Sometimes there is a sign. At other times there are no signs. You must learn to trust God. He wants the best for you. Just believe that, and entrust your life to him.

God may give you a sign. Or he may not. You must learn to walk by faith. He has promised never to leave you or forsake you. He is there by your side right now.

It is my privilege to serve God and his people. I am happy to be a servant.

The way most human beings talk with God is commonly called prayer. I call it a chat. I chat with God all the time.

How I became a servant of God can never be satisfactorily described. The work of the Spirit in Jesus' own words is like the blowing of the wind. Nothing much can be said other than this. I was godless once. I was even a God hater. But sometime later I fell in love with God. And the love goes on.

God showed me how to serve after many years of wandering in the desert. He will show you as well. Just let him be God.

It is Christ in you who gave you the desire to serve. He who gave you the desire for service will also show you how to do it. Just wait and let him guide you.

God is not unaware of the fear that you feel and is very compassionate towards you. He will accept your prayers even if you can't say them well. And he is a gracious God, who has forgiven all your sins. Now go to him, after accepting his forgiveness. Boldly approach his throne of grace and take from him what you need. Take it by faith. And believe that you have it.

We are all weakened by Satan. But we are also strengthened by God. And God's strengthening remedies Satan's weakening any time. Just believe in a God who is greater than his enemy. And he will secure you even you as you balance yourself on the rocks of life.

Now just hold on to that faith, but not in your strength. Surrender to God. Submit your fear to him. Confess your weakness. And ask him to help, just like the man who said to Jesus once, "Lord, I believe. But help thou my unbelief."

Be at peace with who you are. There is no need to feel ashamed. God knows your struggle. And he accepts you as his own. Receive his love today and walk into his arms.

If you love God so much, love what he wants for you. And desire it above every other thing.

Don't insist on going where you want to go. Go where God wants you to go. Desire what he has planned for you. Pray that his plan will become a reality in your life.

It is after you say, "Don't do it", that people are most likely to do it. This is an age-old truth, which led to the doom of humanity.

We are all dying and we will all certainly be dead someday. But today we are alive in Christ and someday we hope to be raised from the dead like Christ. So do not fear death. Fear nothing. Just believe that you are more than a conqueror in Christ and that all things are possible for you with God. Even a total recovery from your dreadful condition is well within His ability. So don't be afraid, just believe. Despite the awfulness of your continual suffering, just believe.

Just say this: "I will not die. But I will live and declare the work of the Lord." This is what I said in my darkest hour.

O Lord God, Most High and Powerful God, why do you seem not to hear us as we cry out to you? Why do you seem so far away? Why are our hearts not burning within us? Why are things so difficult? Why are some people so far away from you and from us? Why is our pain so deep within us? O have mercy on us today Son of David! It is enough, it is enough. We are aware of our dire need of you. Act now before we faint. Act now O Lord. Let our feeble hearts perceive your love once more. Let us see your love in a way that we will never forget it again. O God listen. O God forgive. O God hear and act. We pray for us, for our health and stability. We pray for all your children. We pray that we may care about them as we care about ourselves. Be with your children today. Strengthen them in every way and restore their lost joy to them. Let them cling to You. Let them cling to the old rugged cross. Let them hide themselves in Thee today. O God we will not fail to hope in you today. We are determined to believe till the point of death! In Jesus' name we pray with the Holy Spirit in us. Amen.

When everything goes out of control let us remember God. When there seems to be less and less hope in our hearts let us cling to His promise. He promised never to leave us or forsake us. God will not leave us. Let us praise Him even as the answer seems unlikely. Every time our trial is a test of faith and a test of endurance. Shall we bear this cross patiently till the very end?

May God bless you and keep you strong and healthy. May your troubles be behind you very soon. May our troubles be behind us very soon. Troubles are good and they teach us a lot. But rejoicing always comes in the morning. Our morning is approaching.

Jesus never leaves our side even when the going gets impossible. Jesus is with us. His help is ever present in the time of trouble. So reach out to God who is only within you. And by faith receive His help. We will never stop praying and crying out to God for mercy. We are under attack because of our love for God. Our great love for God has brought about great suffering. Let us carry our crosses gratefully and faithfully. The Lord will deliver His people.

I have every reason to believe that Jesus is with you and with every one who calls out to Him for help. Though I have never seen Jesus with my own eyes I see no reason to disbelieve those who say that they have seen Jesus.

Friend, I'm happy that you are not alone. You can never be that when you are with Christ.

We are to love everyone, both the fruit-bearing and the fruitless. And it is the fruitless who need our love more.

You should not try. You should just do what comes naturally. And when people try you should be sympathetic. We all tried once and still do.

We love everyone yet we cannot show our love to everyone. So we should love at least one person at a time. And even that does not come easy.

There is so much suffering in this world. And we all need to pray.

There is no other way except the way of love. This is the truth that Jesus symbolizes.

I am grateful to be able to help anyone God sends to me. God has indeed made me a vessel of his gracious love and light.

Don't be afraid. Just believe. These are the words we must reflect on. Simple and direct our Lord is.

I say to you today, "Let's remember the basics. God is good. And God never fails. He never fails those who trust in him."

But we are still afraid. I'm still afraid. Remember the disciples on the boat. They were afraid. Remember them during the crucifixion. They were afraid. Remember them just after the resurrection. They were afraid. They stopped being afraid only when the Holy Spirit took over them. Let the Spirit take over me. Let Him take over you and every one who wants to step out of fear.

Troubled souls have been put together. This is what God has done. Miles separate us. But a strange love unites us.

Expect something new from God. He is doing something new. Stop dwelling on the past.

Do not lose heart. Our path to God is not without difficulties. It is frustrating even here. I wish that God would just step in now and put an end to all difficulties. I want to smile today. And I will smile though the desired goal has not been met. I will rejoice and be thankful. This is the greatest test in faith. DO NOT LET your heart be troubled. Trust in God. Trust in Christ. He can and will do the impossible if you believe. That is the only requirement and that is very simple and yet very hard. We are by nature without trust and patience. May God grant these to us today.

My job is to serve Christ by serving people like you. I need not be thanked for doing my job. I'm so happy that Christ heard my prayer for you. I think Christ knows how precious you are to Him, and it is His Spirit, which has been praying for you in me.

Today as I wait for my miracle I know that God has performed many miracles in my life, the chief of which is my life, which he has turned around from unbelief to belief. And He has given me people who love me. And from voicelessness he has made a voice out of me. I have much to thank God for.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord will deliver her out of them all. Do not be afraid, just believe. Just believe that God is with you and that His health is in you. Say, "The health of Jesus is flowing through me, through my veins, in my blood, and is removing every disease from me. Whatever this condition, God is greater than it and His power will overcome it. It is now overcoming it. It has overcome it." Say this again and again, and focus on the truths of God and do not entertain the lies and the fears that the devil brings to you.

I'm praying for you. May God get you to the right place and to the right doctor. May He work His miracle today in your life. But you must not panic. At least do not lose sight of the ultimate truth. God is good. He will not leave you or forsake you. Say to yourself, "No never alone. No never alone. He promised never to leave me, never to leave me alone." I cover you with the blood of Christ. May you be healed today!

Every time pain comes near you God comes near you as well. A painful experience is another opportunity to seek God. Rejoice in your trials. For your faith is about to be perfected. This is what I have learned so far. And there is something more. God is good. And He does not want you to suffer more than you can bear. Affirm these truths again and again. Remember that it is by His stripes that you are healed. Say this too: "I cried to God and He heard me and healed me. By His stripes I am healed." Declare this also, "I will not die but live and declare the work of God." This last declaration is special to me, for it brought me out of a terrible darkness in my own life a few years ago, when I suffered inexplicably.

Keep fighting. This is a fight that you will win most certainly. God Himself is fighting for you. Remember, God cannot be defeated. Faith will be rewarded.

The storms will blow away soon. But even in the storm there is the calm of knowing who is in control. Be blessed and more blessed.

He in whom you have put your faith will not disappoint. Say that to yourself, "He will not disappoint me."

Sing to the Lord. Sing to Him now! Sing even when you do not feel like singing. Take your mind away from the pain and let it focus on God. Do this despite the excruciating pain. Say, "Lord I will take this pain for you. Let me glorify you through enduring this pain. I will accept both good and bad from you. I believe in you. I trust in you. I know that you will not give me more pain than I can endure. I know that it is by your stripes that I am healed. I claim my healing now in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I will just say the word as you say the word and receive my healing. Amen."

Say this: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil. For thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. I will not die, but live and declare the work of the Lord. Young men may faint and fall, but I who hope in the Lord will renew my strength. I will run and not be weary. I will walk and not be faint. I cried out to the Lord my God, and he healed me. Because I love God he will heal me. He will rescue me and protect me. I will call on him and he will answer me. He will be with me in my trouble. He will deliver me and honour me. With LONG LIFE will he satisfy me and show me his salvation. In Jesus name, I am healed by his stripes! Amen. Amen. Amen!"

Stay with God. You need to. All of us need to.

I believe that the pain can end and will end if you trust in God.

Cling to those wounds. He is our only hope. He is our peace. Jesus Christ is our only hope. Believe that. Say that. Without him we can do nothing. Rest in his shadow today. She who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. She will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust." And he will say, "Because she loves me I will rescue her. I will protect her for she acknowledges my name. She will call upon me and I will answer her. I will be with her in trouble. I will deliver her and honour her. With long life will I satisfy her and show her my salvation."

What are you afraid of? Are you afraid of dying? Of death? Death has lost its sting. Don't you know that? Nothing shall separate you from God. Neither life nor death. Neither angels nor demons. Neither sickness nor health. You belong with God. You belong to God. Say that. Affirm that. You belong to God! Nothing shall separate you from God! If God lets you suffer despite prayers, then He must have a reason for that. Perhaps you have not yet reached a place of fearless trust. You must reach this place soon, and you cannot reach it without God. So pray with me now as a I say, "O Lord, take us to that place of fearless trust. Let us not pray and then quake in fear. Let us pray and believe confidently that You will help us overcome our problem. In Jesus name we pray. Amen."

Be calm and trust in God. Leave everything to Him. He never fails, though He does scare us to death many times.

God is with you and all of us. We are all going through some kind of pain. We are all troubled to varying degrees. I know that you have been troubled greatly by your physical and mental sufferings. Maybe your great trouble is a great blessing. Maybe God is about to do something great in your life. Hang on to this thought.

God will not forsake the one who hopes in Him. Be strong and courageous. Above all be grateful for all God has given you. And He will do the rest.

Let us be constant in our gaze towards God. No matter what we have suffered and will suffer it is in His promise and faithfulness that we will place our ultimate trust. We trust in God because He will not fail us. He is not like any human being. He will not lie to us. He is also perfectly able to fulfil His promise and perform His word.

Sometimes all that we can do is pray. God has a plan that sometimes seems so different from ours.

God is great. May he give you more. Even when you feel no one is noticing, God is noticing. And he'll let you know that he did.

God is with us always. We may not always be aware of His presence. But His voice is heard at the right time. Sometimes when I'm about to do or say something rash, a voice speaks quickly, "Wait, don't do that!" That is God. At other times the voice is not loud, yet I hear it, even as I do wrong. At other times God is quiet even when I do something wrong. And later I hear God but not in condemnation. He speaks compassionately and helps me amend my wrongs.

We are strong and rich not because of anything we have achieved or been born with. We are strong and rich because of what the Lord has done for us.

May God be with you and grant you a good night's sleep. May He place His healing hand on you and remove your distressing symptoms. May He heal you and restore you. May you continue to be a blessing to others. You are a mighty witness to Him, by holding on to Him, despite your many woes.

Be strong in the Lord. Declare yourself to be strong and free. You are God's child. And you are blessed. You belong to God alone, and no matter how you feel, know that God will never let you go. Speak to Him and seek His wisdom. Listen patiently till you hear His voice within you. I'm praying for you.

Any gift from you is sweet and pleasing. Your love is your greatest gift. So give your greatest to the least of your brothers and sisters and your Father in heaven will be highly pleased.

God will not leave you or forsake you, whatever be your condition. Just believe that he is out there for you.

I may be no biological father. But I have a felt a love throb in my heart in the presence of a young child. I felt a deep sense of anguished joy at the task of raising a child for God. And that is the task of a father, plain and simple. A father needs to raise a child for God. He has to approach this task with the help of God, who will direct his every step and correct his every mistake. For the raising of a child is no task for a godless man.

When you give you will certainly receive. Still you should not give to receive. But you should give because you have received. Remember what Jesus Christ said, "Freely you have received. Freely give." Giving should follow receiving.

When you have a lot it is not easy to appreciate all that you have. But when you have less you will be grateful for everything that you have.

Be happy to be where God wants you to be, even if it is a place you want to run away from. There are times when you want to forge ahead, but if God wants you to wait and remain where you are, then surrender to his will with all the cheer that you can muster.

Go, celebrate your life. You, my child, are blessed.

Learn to give. If you have a lot, give some of it to another person who does not have much. Let your giving be motivated purely by love and by nothing else. Your deprived brothers and sisters deserve nothing less than that. And when you give something away, you will discover that the One who lives within you will give you even more.

The Lord has His secrets, and it is not good for Man to pry into them. Also I am informed that the foolishness of God is wiser than Man’s wisdom. Yet one thing is certain. The Lord is at war with the devil. Both are fighting for the soul of Man. And the soul of Man is in conflict. Often his heart is with the devil. But his mind desires the goodness of the Lord. The battle seems endless. But true faith perseveres, and this is faith: “the one who desires the Lord above everything else will find Him someday. And the beauty of the Lord will gradually overcome the ugliness of the devil. The purpose of the Lord will dispel the meaninglessness of life. The love and the peace of the Lord will subdue the hatred and the violence in Man’s heart.”

Blessed is he who gives without the intent to receive, for this is the highest form of giving. Blessed is the very act of giving, and blessed is he who has been appointed to give.

The desire to live forever can find fulfilment in the Christian faith. Yet how does one desire to live this everlasting life? Does one desire to live with the Lord or live apart from Him? An eternal separation from God is not life at all. It is eternal death consciously and hellishly lived. Does one desire to live with the Lord? The eternal communion with God is promised to those who seek Him wholeheartedly. To seek God is to love Him. And those who love Him will not taste death.

What God created He could destroy. God created Man. Man disappointed God. God could have destroyed Man. Yet God did not destroy Man. He allowed him to live. Man lived, yet was separated from God because of his sins. Man was destined to go to hell. But God did not want Man to go to hell. Therefore God decided to change the fate of Man. And Man’s fate could change only when he atoned for his sins. The only atonement that could meet God’s requirement was the death of a righteous man. But a righteous man could not be found on earth. So God had to send that righteous man from heaven. His name was Jesus. He was the Son of God and He became human in order to be the atonement for the sins of Man. The Son of God is as much God as are the Father and the Holy Spirit, the other members of the Trinity. Thus God came down to earth to be born as the sinless man who would atone for Man’s sins. He did this because He loved Man and did not want to see him destroyed. Thus Jesus Christ is the expression of God’s love.

Realise this. Pain is the road to joy. The love that endures is willing to accept rejection. Giving is most blessed when it is unacknowledged. To have faith is to hope when it is hopeless, and to believe when there is no reason to believe.

It is good to remember this: what seems hopeless may still yield hope, what seems meaningless may still offer meaning and what seems inevitable may still be prevented. A man may know much and yet understand little. A man may have experience but not the knowledge.

God is love. God is life. A man who rejects God rejects love and life. God’s love is not Man’s love, and God’s life is not Man’s life. God loves even those who do not love Him, and God’s life cannot taste death. A man who rejects God may live and love, but he will inherit neither the life nor the love of God.

The wisdom of God is for the benefit of those who have been predestined to belong to God. Even those who have been predestined to belong to God can resist God. Resistance to God is in the very nature of Man. Those who resist God resist life. Let not people of God continue in their error. Though they walk in the path of eternal death, they will not die, for God will not be prevented from having those who belong to Him. The people of God will come to their senses, and turn away from the clutches of death. They will return to their God.

We cannot be human without making mistakes. Mistakes are not all bad. For they have to power to help us learn about ourselves. And when God shines his light on us, we can use this learning to move on to a higher place where the Spirit will lead us.

I saw Him as a blazing train of fire in a childhood dream, and I pledged my servitude to Him in a language that I did not know then, but learned to speak later. I did not even know who He was. Yet I must have known deep within that He is the Lord.

Trusting in God is the only way out of the hell we create in our own lives. When a man is in trouble let him pray.

No, I have never given up, and will never give up on God. Life is difficult but not impossible. Faith in God is not for quitters. I've had my share of desperate moments. But the Lord would not let me go. And as I grow in understanding, the chances of my slipping away seem more unlikely than ever. Yet I remain cautious in prayer.

A son of a Hindu, a former atheist and a God-hater, I am now a priest of Jesus Christ singing His praises and telling others about His wonderful love. Can there be a better proof for the power of God than what He has done in me?

You love God by loving those He created. And you cannot love anyone without giving away something of value.

Enjoy life with God. That's the best way to enjoy it.

Every trickle of blessing that comes your way, stop and give thanks. Cease your relentless search for joy, pause and take note of God's act of kindness, though it may be little. Thank God with all your heart. Celebrate the little things, the little strokes of love from God's fingers.

Does the sore still itch? Does the wound still produce a tingle of pain? Is your sleep still disturbed? Are you dreams still unpleasant? Don't worry. Don't give it undue thought. Know this, Jesus is at work within you. He has saved you from your sin, even if you don't feel saved. If the Son has saved you, you are saved indeed. Believe in this and walk by faith.

Don't submit to the weak desires. Submit only to the strong desires, those that strengthen you and make you the person that you want to be.

It is good to be friendly to others. Still examine your heart as to why you are friendly. Are you showing affection without any desire for a return gesture, or are you seeking something from the person to whom you are being friendly? Are you willing to face rejection and still continue to show affection, or will you cease to be friendly when you realize that your attentions are spurned? The only kind of friendliness that passes the test is the one that is given without any expectation and is willing to suffer rejection.

Learning to be silent is more important than learning to speak.

The fools look outward. The wise look inward.

There is sanity after madness, hope after despair and life after death.

Every time when I am in trouble I start talking to God. When I wrestle with evil thoughts I start speaking to God. And I continue to speak to God and ask him for strength. Only his strength provided by his grace can turn my mind away from its dark path. Whenever darkness descends on me I run to the light of God. And I speak to Him till he fills me with his light.

Are you feeling lonely today? Are you afraid of something today? Are you worried? Do you need someone to be with you today? I know someone. He stays with me, and goes with me wherever I go. He is always with me, waiting to rush to my aid, at a time when I need it most. And this person is ready to help you as well. I call him Lord. I call him God. I call him Jesus. He has promised never to leave his people alone. He has promised never to leave me alone. He has promised never to leave you alone. Believe in him today. Ask him to come. Ask him to help you. He will not disappoint you.

If you try long enough, if you persist long enough, you will succeed. You will do what you want to do. This is what I have discovered. I will not give up even if I fail a few times. I will not give up even if I fail many times. I will not give up. I will not give up. And I don't want you to give up today - whatever you are trying to do. If you are trying to do a worthy thing according to the will of God, keep trying even if you do not succeed. If you keep at it long enough you will succeed. Believe that the One who has called you to do this has given you the strength to do it. And you will find that strength, maybe not immediately, but eventually you will. Do not give up today.

As followers of Jesus Christ we do not compete with each other. We contribute to each other.

It may not be possible to do great things. But there are small acts of love waiting to be done. We can offer a smile to someone who is lonely. We can offer the love of God to someone who is emotionally damaged. We can take care of an injured animal. We can water a plant. Let us not be so intent on doing something great that we miss out on what is simple and maybe more urgent.

Show love especially to those who do not know love.

Walls and doors do not protect me. God protects me.

Who can guide us home except the one who calls us home? In our search for Him, in our attempt to go home, we get lost and distracted and confused. It is at that time we need to believe in Him. We need to pray that He would guide us home.

It is the privilege of all Christians to love those who hate them. Christians, don't fail to exercise this privilege today.

Whatever God has asked you to do, do not do it in a hurry. Relish what you do. Consider what you are doing and be grateful to God that you can do it.

It feels good to be approved and loved by people. But when such approval and love do not come hearts can be broken and aims can appear defeated. It is especially then that we should consider this fact: we are here because God loves us and approves of us. God's love and approval should outrank every other thing. And when we have this love and approval, we don't need anything else. It is best to be aware of this fact always.

Many of us fail to tell others about Jesus Christ. And someday it is too late for some of them. It is too late for us to tell some people about Christ because they pass away without hearing about Him. But we must endeavour to tell people as tactfully as possible about the Lord Jesus Christ and the importance of committing to Him entirely and believing in Him entirely. We are saved. And that's not enough. We must think about other people's salvation as well. There are others out there who need to hear about Christ.

I will not discount the possibility of an amazing miracle today and every day for God is always with me doing what is best for me.

Choose to see what is good. Choose to speak words that empower. Above all believe that God is good and is doing something inexplicably good in your life. And His grace is sufficient for you every day. And one day you shall see this clearly and rejoice in it.

Enjoy the light. Believe in the light. God is light. And His light is good and brings health. You will be well no matter what.

God will not answer my prayer because of my good behaviour. But He will answer my prayer because I believe in His goodness while knowing well my own wretchedness.

Tough roads are good. And this is not so just to console those who travel tough roads. It is very true that tough roads lead to the true good.

I have many mountains to climb. Yesterday I felt desperate. But today I am happy and at peace, though nothing has changed. For I know that Christ is with me in this terrible place. And even the valley of the shadow of death is a beautiful place when He accompanies me.

Whatever the problem in your life, don't let it keep you from admiring God's flowers. Flowers remind us of God's love. And we need to be reminded of that love.

We must conquer our nature. But we cannot conquer this on our own. We need someone else who has conquered it for us. We need to stand in his shadow. He must be in us so that we may be in him.

O God respond to prayer. Respond to your people who cry out in distress. Was it not said that nothing shall separate us from the love of God? Nothing means nothing. So why do you still delay the response? O Lord listen. O Lord forgive. O Lord hear and act.

No one cares for me more than God does. No one, not even my parent, not even my friend cares for me more than God does. I may not be able to see him or hear him, but he cares for me more than any human being cares for me.

For all those who are trusting in God today to provide their needs, let me pray this: "May God answer the prayers of His people and grant their needs immediately without any delay. May the faith of God's people be rewarded. May God do to them according to their faith. In Jesus' name. Amen."

I've reached that point in my life where I have no confidence in my own ability but I have total confidence in the ability of Jesus Christ whom I will allow to live in me and through me. Now I live the truth that without Him I can do nothing.

Grace is where I am.

What determines a child of God is not what church he attends, or what denomination he belongs to or what doctrine he holds fast to. What actually determines a child of God is what love he has for an utterly unlovable neighbour.

Say this today. "It may not look like God is going to bless me. But I believe that God is going to bless me."

Praying to God and receiving answers from him do not always happen according to our expectations. Sometimes God delays his answers and at other times God does something else. But we must trust in God and his good intentions toward us. We must believe that he wants the best for us and will do only what is good for us.

Don't be afraid when you face troubles. You have a God who cares about you. He cared enough for you to send you his son Jesus, so that the Son may reveal how much the Father cares.

God clothed us because we cannot deal with nakedness properly.

We are now sinless. God regards us as sinless because He who was not sin became sin for our sakes, and since He became our sin we became His righteousness. Jesus is righteous. He is the Son of God. When He came down to earth He was most certainly the only righteous man who ever lived. And when He died for us as a righteous man He was the perfect sacrifice for our sins. And thus our sins have been wiped away. And because they have been wiped away we are seen as sinless by God, even though we may still sin for we are still in the flesh, and as long as we remain in the flesh, we will sin.

Friend, I pray that God be with you and comfort you in this time of trouble. May He give you the strength to surmount whatever difficulty has come your way. Do not be dismayed, for your God is no deserter. He always walks with you and comforts you with His presence. Take strength in knowing that. And be well.

You can read the entire Bible and still not know God.

God bless all the old people in the world today. Let us treat them with love and respect. For they are treasures given to us by God.

The God of the Bible is a miracle worker. He saves His people miraculously. Today as I pray that He meets the needs of all His people, who are waiting for His miraculous intervention in their lives. May God supply the needs of His people today.

Thank God that there is a God. There is a God out there who cares and who loves. Let me go to Him today and receive His love.

Let us make a list of every good thing that God has done for us. This will help us thank Him better. For the sole purpose of our lives is to thank God for all His goodness.

"My God will not fail me today. My God will never fail me." Just say it.

May God reverse the tough situation in which we find ourselves today. May God bring us relief in this difficult time.

God WILL supply our needs today. Let us rest in this promise.

God bless all His people today. May He listen to their prayers and attend to their needs.

God bless you and strengthen you today to face the challenges of life.

When I sin I know myself. When I fear I know myself. But when I see God I see what I can be in Him.

"Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing" is the ultimate statement of divine mercy that I aspire to realize in my life today.

God will make a way for you. So don't lose hope. He will do something new today.

God, I have walked by your side for many years now. Right now I have had to stop and pause for a while. I did look here and there for you. But I couldn't find you. Though fears rise in my heart I remind myself of your promise, "He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it." And then I hear the chorus in my heart, "No never alone. No never alone. He promised never to leave me, never to leave me alone." Thus I strengthen myself and wait for you. Please come back to save me.

Loving all that God created is the greatest act of worship.

Even though he seems to be killing you and even though he seems oblivious to your screams as you are drowning in a sea of suffering, hope in God, for when you have him there is always a reason for hope.

I recommend the simple prescription in Psalm 42. When you are depressed hope in God despite how it looks. And praise him for who he is despite what he has not yet done for you in your life. The eternal facts about God do not change even if the ground beneath you shakes and mountains crumble into the sea. God will be god.

Are we saved by grace alone? Are our works not crucial to our salvation? Yet we are told to deny ourselves, and carry our cross and follow Jesus. And that appears to be work. But can we achieve any spiritual task without the grace of God? How do we do our works for God, if not by the grace of God?

Let us seek God, not His blessings.

When you are in trouble help someone else. When you are in need of inspiration, inspire another person. When you need urgently to pray for yourself, urgently pray for someone else. Think about someone else today. This is what I say to myself.

I am privileged to be in a place where I am driven to say to God, "Please have mercy on me."

There are many things that I am confident about in my life. Yet there is one thing that I seriously doubt. That's the place where God must be. Yet why do I doubt the role of God and why do I think so little of his power? If I am here, if I can think, if I can deduce this truth, it cannot be without God. My awareness of me itself is the most godly thing in my life. And this alone should assure me of the truth that the one who makes a human aware of himself will also help a man to overcome his own nature.

Don't think about what you can get from people. Think about what you can give to them.

Throw out that ego and you'll feel a lot lighter.

Am I anointed to work for God? For seven years I slaved for God, abandoning almost everything else. I kicked away my career and spurned financial gains. I entertained only one goal: to know God and to convey what I know about God. What unworldly madness I surrendered to for so long! I certainly opine that I am not natively capable of such insanity. So I certainly believe that I am anointed by God to do his work.

If I had depended on human encouragement, my train would have derailed a long time ago.

If I give thanks to God, let it not be for getting more from him. I want more from God, but let not my thanksgiving have an ulterior motive. There is much to give God thanks for and there is nothing better for a human to do than to express thanks for what he has received from God.

If Jehovah Jireh will not provide, who will provide? If God will not be god, then who will be? No, my trust is in God. He will provide, no matter how long it takes and how improbable it looks.

A beautiful child smiled at me today. He smiled when it mattered most. His smile was like the smile of God. And when I realized that, I was reduced to tears. I needed that smile so much today. Thank you God. Continue to smile at me and at all your people. We need to see your smile.

Dance only to your tune with or without applause.

A certain kind of success follows a certain number of failures.
