Samuel Godfrey George pays tribute to the greatest leader of his nation, Mahatma Gandhi: "From Mahatma Gandhi I have learned to respect even those who oppose me. The Mahatma has also taught me the importance of humility and the destructive nature of violence. He has instilled in me the desire to be simple and has directed me to identify with the common man."
